二尊院の概要

二尊院は京都市右京区嵯峨にある、天台宗の寺院です。

正式には小倉山二尊院華臺けだい寺といい、承和年間(834～847年)に、嵯峨天皇の勅願で慈覚大師により建立されました。

春は桜、秋は紅葉が美しい寺院で、本堂には釈迦如来と阿弥陀如来の2尊が祀られています。

紅葉の見頃は、例年11月中旬～下旬頃です。

桜の見頃は、例年4月上旬頃です。
