波心庭 2019年4月
光明院の概要
光明院は京都市東山区にある、臨済宗東福寺派・東福寺の塔頭寺院です。
1391年(明徳2年)、金山明昶により創建されました。
方丈東側に、重森三玲が作庭した波心庭という枯山水庭園があります。
三尊組石が3箇所ある波心庭は崇高で、桜、つつじ、もみじ、苔がとても美しく、四季を通して楽しむことができます。
紅葉の見頃は、例年11月中旬～下旬頃です。
桜の見頃は、例年3月下旬～4月上旬頃です。

龍吟庵－京都市東山区
